I would recommend to give Kia finance a call 1.5-2 weeks after its delivered. It took them 2 weeks after delivery to start and look at my application. Print this letter out and sign with your name on the bottom.Ĥ- Mail it out to Kia Finance.Full list of required documents needed by your local DMV (ex title, limited power of attorney, letter of permission)(Check with you DMV):_.Kia Motors Finance Account Number:_ (sign in on Kia Finance to get it).Then fill out the following regarding your information/account for them in the following order:.Write a small paragraph explaining your move and request for you new state registration.Write to: "Kia Motors Finance" and add Attn: "Titles Department" in your letter before your message.Write "Out of State Transfer" in the middle as header.Make sure your new address is updated there before reaching Kia Finance.ģ- Write a letter mentioning that you have moved and need to out of state transfer and need to get your car registered in your new state. Keep note of all the things they require.Ģ- Update your new address on Kia Motors Finance online. Like for me SMOG was required and limited power of attorney from Kia Finance. At DMV they might partially register your vehicle but tell you that they require few things from you to finish the registration. Fill it out as best you can and take it with you. Do fill out the new vehicle registration form before you visit the DMV. Take your current DMV registration, lease/finance paperwork if you have it.
